Professor for Comparative Education
In my research, I analyze institutional changes in school politics, (new) forms of governance in education politics, educational inequalities and the links between welfare and education politics from an international comparative perspective.
Two questions guide my research:
- What mechanisms explain the persistence and change of institutional arrangements in education systems?
- What effects have institutional arrangements in education systems and their changes on educational inequalities?
